NOTICE OF SPECIAL MEETING NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that there will be a special meeting of the Board of Education of Cornell Community Consolidated School District No. 426 at 6:30 p.m. on Monday, September 27, 2021, in the Math Room, 300 N. Seventh Street, Cornell, Illinois.

Just a reminder: Cornell Grade School will be back in session Monday, September 27.

Happy Saturday Cornell Families! The Cornell Board of Education meeting will be held Wednesday, September 22nd at 6:30. We are in need of a few parents to help out with lunch this week. If you have some extra time and could help us out for a few hours, please call the office.

Cougar Families: Girl's basketball practice will be held in Flanagan this evening, not in Graymont and will end at 5:30 pm. Have a great weekend!

Good Morning Cornell Parents! We will not be providing a bus to the Flanagan Homecoming Parade on Friday. Please let us know if you will be picking up your child from school early to attend the parade. Thank you!

We are asking parents to pick up their child at the North Park at this time. Please sign out your child when you arrive at the park. We have a gas leak in the kitchen in the repaired line and are unable to bring students back into the building. Thank you, Keri Jancek, Superintendent

Parents, We have another gas leak in the kitchen. Students are being evacuated to the North Park. Nicor and the Fire Department have been contacted to check the issue. We will return students to the building after being given an all clear by the Fire Department and Nicor. If parents need to pick up students, you will be notified. We have several openings for our upcoming athletic season. It you are interested in working with a great group of kids, this may be the job for you. We are looking for a girl's assistant volleyball coach, and a head and assistant boy's basketball coach. Cornell Grade School is currently accepting applications for a cafeteria worker. Duties are not limited to but include working in the kitchen, cooking, assisting with inventory, dishes, serving and holding or getting a food handler's license. Interested applicants should email Kjancek@cornellgradeschool.org
